Tahoe, shore by shore

Tahoe communities aren’t interchangeable. Guests pick a shore for a reason, and the listing should say which one a home is on.

Winter is Tahoe’s second high season. Truckee and the resort communities fill on the snow, and the listing changes with it.

What that looks like week to week

Three everyday examples of the work our team takes on for Tahoe homes.

  • Two high seasons, priced separately

Ski weekends and holiday weeks in winter, lake weeks in summer, and honest rates for the shoulder months in between.

  • Guest questions answered

Chains, plowing, hot tubs, bear boxes and parking limits: our team answers guests, and anything at the home goes to your local team.

  • Listings that change with the season

Snow photos in winter, dock photos in summer and amenity details that match what a guest will find when they arrive.

A simple partnership

At no cost to you, we take care of pricing, listing merchandising and guest conversations from a distance. You or your local team take care of the home, the cleans and anything that needs someone on-site. Our margin is blended into the rent guests pay, never deducted from your earnings.

Lake Tahoe questions

Does LoveRentals replace my property manager?

No. LoveRentals supports the online and phone side of the rental business, including pricing, merchandising and guest communication. Your property manager continues handling the property and the on-site experience. Self-managing owners can use the same support while retaining responsibility for local operations.

Do you cover both the California and Nevada shores?

Yes. Tell us which community your home is in and we’ll confirm before anything is agreed.

How do you handle two high seasons?

Winter and summer are priced and presented separately, with their own minimums, photos and guest messaging. The shoulder months get realistic rates rather than hopeful ones.

What does LoveRentals cost owners and property managers?

LoveRentals costs owners and property managers nothing. Our margin is blended into the rent guests pay—not added as a separate surcharge or deducted from your earnings. We use thoughtful pricing and listing merchandising to support the total booking value. If our approach would leave you earning less, we will tell you plainly; it is not the right fit.
